The original was more a CS map, and had some tight outside areas and vents that weren't so great for AHL. Compared to the original by 3DMike, here are the main changes: - Textures: updated with crisper textures. Changed the lighting to orangish, still mixed about this but it went better with the new textures. - Detail Textures: added to main walls/floors. Set "r_detailtextures 1" in console to turn them on - Layout: removed the narrow alleyways to keep the action inside. Removed Vent access. Altered the upstairs a bit to fix a dead end. Put garage doors up there to block off the roof (rather than parked cars). Also, most of the cars are parked normally now. - Optimization: optimized the map, although this was cancelled out by scaling down the textures. Overall r_speeds are pretty solid, and the textures are no longer blurry. - Various odds and ends, and text files. Rogue: The Action Half-Life billboard outside in the alley is from one of his nice custom wallpapers :) ------Additional Info, Tips, and Notes------------------------------- "Detail textures" are available in this map. Please type "detail_textures 1" in the console to turn them on. They seem to cause a tiny bit of lag, but your milage may vary and they make the walls etc. look less blurry up close.
