Zero G Café An Action Half-Life Low Gravity Pit Dive in there, get airbourne and make your point. This is just a little concept map (it started with the poster) experimenting with the trigger_gravity entity. I've thrown in every weapon and 15 info_player_deathmatch'es, but it's so small (~1000x1000x750) that it probably works best with 8 or fewer players in teamplay or last man standing with equipment. *** File Information {half-life}/action/maps zgc.bsp zgc.ini zgc.mat zgc.txt zgc.res zgc.loc {half-life}/action/wpfiles zgc.awf *** Construction Base : None Build Time : 5-6 hours, I guess. Compile Time : 3-4 minutes full compile on P3 800, 128 mb ram Editor(s) used : WorldCraft v.3.4, CorelXara/PSP/Wally for that poster. *** External Sources I've used mainly Half-Life textures, but I got the floortiles from mlocam's clamtex.wad, hope it's okay with him. *** Bugs & Shortcomings - Bots and players have been observed embedded into the floor. - Bots and players have been observed teleporting short (mainly vertical) distances. *** Other Info - When playing with rounds (LMS or Teamplay) some strange feature of the engine dictates that you need to touch ground before you can fire your first shot. So wait for that announcer go "Action!" - If you don't like the slow float downwards, try jumping the pit at a distance from the rim, and hitting the trigger_gravity with a negative vertical speed. Or failing that, you can try to escape into normal trigger_gravity as soon as possible. *** Distribution copyright (c) Steinar Brattelid Sele (Doctor Mowinckel) April 2002 All copyrights reserved, but if you want you can give it away to your friends for nothing.
