This is a simple reskin of Ian Waugh's truly incredible MissWong AHL player model. While the quality of the model is superlative, I just cannot cope with that skin, so I made her into a psychotic anarchist type instead; the basic idea sprang originally from all these anti-capitalist riots that keep happening and with which I thoroughly sympathise; I might join in if I could muster the enthusiasm or the money... Included are two alternative Tie-dye torsos, one a sunburst pattern and one a wave pattern, and two sets of legs, one camouflage and one patchwork, that I couldn't finally decide between. The wave/patchwork skin is the default. To swap them over, you can use the HL Model Viewer (get this from http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/) but I recommend you save the original textures out before you replace them. Feel free to hack up the textures to swap the trousers and tops over or whatever. Note that mismatching torsos and legs produces a silly 'Supergirl' effect... The name comes from an infamous militant feminist magazine from times past; the blue hair is inspired by Eliza Carthy, folk-rock fiddle player extraordinaire; I used to have a t-shirt like that, but this one is made of photoshop effects; the VW belt buckle and the the peacock feather seemed appropriate punk/anarchist/new age touches; the moon tattoo can bve found in books by Katherine Kerr and the piercings simply seemed a good idea at the time, judge their effectiveness for yourself. The patchwork trousers are made from (I think) a Moroccan wall hanging, while the camouflage trousers are from an old CS model by [SoV]Carbine. The Doc Martens, face and arms are all modifications of Ian Waugh's (technically great if wanting in the taste department) original misswong skins. I don't care what you do to my part of the model, but credit me, yes? =================================================== =) Contents of the .zip: riotgrrl.mdl (the model) riotgrrl.bmp (HL menu preview picture) RiotGrrlLegsCamouflage.bmp (alternative leg skin) RiotGrrlTorsoCamouflageSunburst.bmp (alternative torso skin) scheme.txt (sound scheme identifier) 320_riotgrrl.tga (VGUI image) 640_riotgrrl.tga (VGUI image) RiotGrrl.jpg (example picture) riotgrrl-Readme.txt (this file) the .tga's go in (YourHalfLifeDirectory)\action\gfx\vgui the rest go in (YourHalfLifeDirectory)\action\models\player\riotgrrl point Winzip at your half-life directory (not Action) and all should be well.
