PLAY: All right, Im going to make an attempt to explain what all the buttons do. There are alot, so bare with me. ---Firstly, one wall contains buttons for most of the monsters that can be added to the map. There are labels above the buttons that say what they do. The green buttons release freindly versions of the monsters. All buttons are shootable. You can also push them by bumping into them. Most monstermakers are not cyclic so they will continue to spawn untill you hit the button again. ---Now if you turn right, the next wall has more buttons. The black and white buttons on the leftmost side lower and raise the hologram resolution. For a better explanation, start the level, hit the black button, then add some monsters. You'll see. the grey and green glass buttons toggle the glass sheilds that sheild the operater from the stuff in the arena. The buttons labeled "supplies" add various weapons for the players to use. the red button with the yellow sign over it toggles rocket launchers in the ceiling. The yellow button next to it toggles lightning bolts that come down from the sky and kill all monsters in the arena. The unlabled red button toggles "the crusher". Just activate it to see what it does. ---Now if you turn right again, you will see...MORE BUTTONS! These are mostly destructive toys. Most of them are self explanitory. Just play with them and you'll get the idea. The red, yellow, and green buttons toggle trigger_hurt feilds inside the arena. Red kills things fast, yellow kills slower, green...you get the idea. The blinking lights above them indicate whether or not they are on. Trust me it really sucks to accidently toggle the fast kill feild and then jump in the arena. ---If you turn right once more, or just look at the only remaining wall, you'll see buttons that do some various weird things. There is a blinking blue button that tells you "magnetic feild toggled". This button toggles a push feild inside the arena. It doesn't actually push anything but it will keep "touching" the monsters. With this on, monsters will be constantly damaged by the trigger_hurts instead of only taking damage when they move. There is also a white button that spits snowmen into the arena. This is just something for people to play with if they know how to hack a map. Some pretty funny stuff can be done with this. Two of the other buttons add baby gargs to the arena. The two buttons with the small red one above them add apaches. The apaches are set to automatically follow their waypoints so dont worry about them. The small red button between them is to remove the apaches. Be warned, however that it will only killtarget them, so this may eventually cause problems as the apaches still technically exist (the same is true of the small button that removes the sentry guns on the previous wall) Well, I guess that's it...enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * CREDITS * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -thx to Molotov Cocktail for extensive alpha/beta testing with the earlier versions of this map ================================================================================ * COPYRIGHT / PERMISSIONS * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
