Deep within the hold of a long-dead alien spaceship, your team breaks open the last airlock. Looks like you get to go first. You dart quickly around the corner, scanning the ceiling for turrets, looking for the telltale green glow of alien slaves. But all is silent... Wait... what's that sound? click click clik click... SLASH! Sentry robots! FEATURES: This is my second model. It took me 4 days to complete, and it's worlds beyond my first model, the Bideogeemu Jelly. Another custom skeleton, but this time the mesh is much more detailed. The walking animation again includes custom sounds... this time, it's a snappy mechanical click that sounds rythmic and creepy when a bunch of these guys are ganging up on you! You headshot-hungry snipers will be happy to know I used hitboxes to include a weakspot this time around: It's the camera lense. The power light blinks on and off when the bot takes heavy damage and goes out in the death animations! ATTACKS: The RoboBug security 'bot has a weapon compartment in the head and sharp claws it can use in melee combat. Being a zombie replacement, this particular bot doesn't have a gun installed up there, so instead it sometimes attacks by smacking you with the lid! USAGE: This model designed for use with the multiplayer cooperative mod Sven Co-op (http://www.svencoop.com) It moves a little slower than a normal zombie, and the legs click as it scuttles along. To use with SvenCoop: Put the model in the svencoop\models\yourmapname folder. Create a monster_zombie or a squad_maker entitiy in your map in WorldCraft, and specify this model. Distribute the custom model with your map. To use with your own new Half-Life mod: Place the model in the Half-Life\yourmod\models directory. Rename it zombie.mdl. Put monster_zombies in your mod, and distribute the model with your mod. Or if your mod constains custom code, create a new monster type and use this model for the animations. =) Note: This model uses a custom skeleton and is missing many animations needed for scripted sequences. As a result, THIS MODEL SHOULD NOT BE USED TO REPLACE THE DEFAULT HL ZOMBIE MODEL IN NORMAL SINGLEPLAYER HALF-LIFE! If you use this model, try to remember to give me credit. Final Note: Don't be stupid. Don't upload this model to a model review website, a HL downloads site, a forum, or your own personal HL site claiming you made it yourself. Eventually someone who's already seen this model will know you didn't make it and tell everybody, and you'll just look like an ass.
