To: Gene (Sperminator), Jane (Limited Edition) and Jason (**BLAZE**) for the endless hours spent testing the game for it's playability. To: Kinghthawk, Bait and 2Crazy4u (all of Girlpower2) for the wealth of advice and assistance that they have afforded me in the GP2 forums, and in personal e-mails. To: Predator, Poopfoot and Panthereye for their input and help to my posted threads in the Girlpower forums. To: Everybody else at Girlpower for all the hard work that they put into these servers. With Girlpower, who needs another server. Thanks guys. ================================================================ GAMEPLAY DESCRIPTION: CTF (With a view to TEAMWORK) The flag is on view for everybody to see but, providing it's properly defended, it shouldn't be quite so easy to pick up. However, once you have it, it's only a short and reasonably protected journey back to your capture point in your lower HQ office area. All of the doors close very quickly and none of them allow access to the enemy. However, you can run into the enemy base when the doors open to let the enemy out, and all doors will open to allow exit for both teams. There are two main "unrestricted" ways into the enemy base. One is underwater from the "Well" like corridoor in the center of the outside area. The other is the underground cavern. This is a "base to base" passage which starts in your lower level ramp room and ends in the same place inside the enemy base. This underground cavern route has some special "eye candy" to keep you amused while the enemy are killing you. Serves you right for getting distracted... lol Both of these routes will need to be heavily defended to protect the flag. The bases are protected by (EWARS) an "Early Warning Audio Radar System" which verbally warns you when the enemy have entered your base. This is backed up by a text message to inform you of exactly where they have entered. Spys are stripped of their disguise as they enter the base or enter the flag room. However, they can re-cloak once inside. With "Llama Control" firmly in mind, "no_grenade" areas have been introduced inside all respawn rooms and for a short distance outside respawn room doors. Spamming respawn with hallucination grenades (or any other grenade for that matter) has become a pointless excercise. Engineers can no longer block "critical" narrow passageways by building SG's or dispensers inside them. ================================================================ TEAM SCORING SYSTEM: (Again with a view to TEAMWORK) Flag Capturing Player: 20 points Capturing Team's Scoreboard: 10 points Capturing Player's Teammates: 5 points for each team member This system of scoring is designed to make the difficult flag a worthwhile goal for the flag runner as well as making it desireable for his/her teammates to ensure that he/she gets it back to base. It's also intended as a "bonus" for snipers who often "save the day" but do not get a chance to capture the flag themselves. Protect your flag runner and score 5 points for your efforts. ================================================================ AUTOMATIC LLAMA CONTROL SYSTEM: (Zero Tolerance) Respawn Spamming Lamas: (a) 10 points deducted for each attempt Shamed In Console: (b) Name displayed to all other players Terminated: (c) Executed (We take no prisoners) This automatic "Name & Shame" system is designed to hurt the Llamas while providing "humour and pleasure" to the professional player. In Glasshouse2, TEAMWORK is definitely the order of the day. Have fun....(except the Llamas of course) [-GP2-]Rookie.... ================================================================ COPYRIGHT / PERMISSIONS: There are none. This map was created for your pleasure.
