The objective is to collect 2 arming keys and an ammo container and take them below to the Fire Control room in order to arm the ships internal security systems. 20 team-points for successfully arming the security system -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since it's release in June, I've been told of (and seen myself) a lot of bad points to the version I released back then for the ERC competition. So I decided to put all I could right and make it as good a map as I wanted it to be, so here it is. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHANGES TO v1.1 FROM v1.0 RELEASE VERSION 1. Added the kick-ass new item tracking system to the bridge to stop people hiding away with any items and to encourage more teamplay 2. Spies are now revealed when they pick up items 3. Items can no longer be taken into spawn areas, they will be returned if you try 4. Minor restructuring of the corridors and cargo hold should make it better for Engineers and possibly other short range classes (in the corridors anyway) 5. Added a few ammo packs to the Fire Control room to help defending players 6. Added a few more sentry guns. Will no doubt add more for the final revision 7. Removed personal frags for using items, hopefully discouraging solo item runs by idiot 'hero' players 8. 'Maintenance' corridors added, mainly to aid engineers and snipers passage to upper cargo area 9. Health packs added to cargo area for those 'only just survived getting that item' moments 10. General aesthetic changes that had been requested, such as pipes and bulkheads in corridors -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEAM FORTRESS CLASSIC : 2 Teams : 11 Player Respawn Points per Team SUGGESTED PLAYER LOAD : 6-16 NEW TEXTURES : Yes, including new 'sea' sky textures NEW SOUNDS : No CD TRACK # : 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * CONSTRUCTION * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAP BASE : New Map PREFABS USED : None EDITOR(S) USED : Worldcraft 2.1 Beta OTHER UTILITIES USED : Wally 1.38 Beta, Bryce 3.1 KNOWN BUGS : None COMPILE MACHINE : PIII-450, 256MB SDRAM QCSG TIME : 65 seconds QBSP2 TIME : 34 seconds VIS TIME : 1330 seconds QRAD TIME : 856 seconds -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * OTHER LEVELS BY THE AUTHOR * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUAKE : Three Towers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure you unpack the zip file to your root Half-Life directory, as files are unzipped to both valve and tfc sub-dirs -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * CREDITS * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Valve Software : For making such a great game and an equally great MOD Department of Engineering : For being such kick-ass site and helping me get the revision as good as it is ================================================================================ * COPYRIGHT / PERMISSIONS * -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
