A beach map that actually looks like a beach.. I mean almost. The level is just one big square with stuff in it, my mistake, but that would have been the only way to do this. Maybe that's why no-one has made a beach map before (maybe, I havent seen one in Half-Life). The water texture is just one big texture. The rest of the textures where done normaly, either by recoloring (again!) valve textures (rocks and wood on the boat), by drawing them myself (water, sand, palm trees and grass) or taking them from pictures (castle walls and floor textures are photos from a real caribbean Spanish fort.) There are 6 landmarks in the level: A. Castle: A castle made to protect the colony from pirates and other greedy European countries like England and Holland ;). The reason your team will want to defend this is because of the TWO cannons. It's also a good place to snipe from if you have a good connection (the r_speeds are higher here than any- where else.) You can find a Shotgun and some ammo in the castle. B. Mini-Fort: A miniature fort near the main castle. If it wasn't for the cannon in the main castle, this would be a good place to snipe. The lower floor has a crossbow and health. C. Waterfall: A rock behind the waterfall makes a perfect sniping spot, maybe. The plants in the water hide a Rocket Powered Grenade Launcher and some ammo for it. Dont forget that. D. Mountain: The Biggest part of the map is the mountain right in the middle. From up there you can shoot anywhere, but it's a long way up (and down). The cave at the ground has a shotgun and there's a magnum nearby. E. Pirate Ship: The team that doesn't control the castle should take breaks here. There is a crossbow inside the boat and an (or just a) RPG in the rock formation in the edge of the map. Shoot at the people in the lighthouse from here. Check out the pirate's daughter. F. Lighthouse: The Gauss/Tau gun is here (really). This is a pretty tall building, and you can see most of the level from here. Attack the Castle from here if no-one is using the cannons.
