The original idea was to build a city_block3 map in the tradition of city_block style, but the name just had to go......, the feeling i get when i play it stays the same, The concept of this map is straight-forward good ol' classic deathmatch for all half-life fans. No secrets are present, but could evolve with ideas from fellow players and friends. There are 20 deathmatch spawns, so 20 players is maximum players... Install instrucitons: Please unzip all .tga file to valve\gfx\env directory. Please unzip .bsp and .res to valve maps dir. Dear User: In the map, there is one func camera, cameras can lead to bugs, (gettin stuck looking through it) and we all know this, this camera will reset automaticly after ten seconds of use to insure nobody gets stuck in the camera for good. Instructions for intended use of camera in this map: The button next to camera simply turns the turrets on/off (you will see the turrets in camera, if you have not noticed)the turrets kill anything in sight,they are guard turrets, the turrets do take damage and will not come back after they are dead, reload map. When you are at the camera, notice this, you can use camera and button at same time, just look left at the button when using camera and use the button for turret activation while looking through camera.Or whatever works for you. Camera is only intended for quick kills and a good laugh. Campers beware. This camera is not meant to be camped at, so just beware... Tao cannon is right in front of cam view and the turrets have no problems shooting that spot. good thing, cant say that about egon, way far away from turrets. Inner_city(F) =final This is a final(f) release. Please enjoy the map, dont let the camera trap steal yer skill and feed on your greed, as the whole rest of the map is out there and quite an experiance indeed.
